Come one, come all to the Lourdes High School Music Department’s “Night of Jazz.” This will be an evening you don’t want to miss. Congratulations goes out to two of our ensembles at Lourdes High School, The LHS Winter Drum Line and The LHS Hi-Lighters Jazz Ensemble.
The LHS Winter Drum Line has taken 1st place in all of their competitions this season. Check-out this amazing group!
The LHS Hi-Lighters had a great performance at the Willow Creek Auditorium on Saturday February 27, 2010. They continue their season this Friday evening March 5 at the annual Night of Jazz. The Night of Jazz is a sit down desert/coffee setting with jazz performances featuring students from Lourdes High School. Come and join us on March 5.

Congratulations on a great 2008-2009 school year. A many thanks to those students who went above and beyond the expectation to make the year great.

The Hi-Lighters performed at RCTC on Saturday February 28, 2009. Great job Hi-Lighters. The LHS Hi-Lighters will be performing at Madonna Towers on March 4th, 2009 at 3:00PM. The performance will be open to the public.
The Hi-Lighters are just one of the many musical groups from Lourdes High School.

Happy 2009 everyone!!
This is an FYI that we will be having pep band for the basketball game on Tuesday January 20. Students are to be there at 6:45. We will be updating the calendar today and tomorrow, so continue to keep an eye on the music calendar for changes (www.lhsmusic.org).
Other Upcoming Events
-Hi-Lighters Gig on Jan 21 at Madonna Towers has been moved to March 4.
-Hi-Lighters and Center Street singers will meet this Wednesday; Center Street 2:00-3:30 PM, Hi-Lighters 3:30-5:00 PM
-Center Street Singers will meet at their normal time on Thursday (3:00-4:30).
-Winter Guard has their first show this Saturday Jan 24 at Waconia High School in Waconia MN
-On February 4, 2009 we will have our band clinic in Kasson. This will take place during the day. Transportation provided by school.
-On February 11, 2009 we will have our choir clinic in Byron. This will take place during the day. Transportation provided by school.
